Jacen's beginnings as a curious, animal-loving, and genuinely funny kid have always been one of my favorite parts of his story. Watching him grow from that into one of the Star Wars Expanded Universe's most philosophically interesting, and honestly, most tragic characters is what makes his journey so compelling to me.
